Well, it appears that, regardless of whether I get the job at the BMI (I had to change the acronyms) company, I will be moving to Llano.  See, if I don’t get one of the three jobs, I have to move to Llano.  But if I do get one of the jobs, I can live here and get out of debt more quickly.

There are only a couple of reasons this sucks.  I have to give up running my sci-fi group, and I have been trying to find a replacement (I was a replacement) for a week or so with no takers.  it’s the most active meetup group in Dallas, so we really don’t want to see it go bye bye.

Two, I am going to miss my vet, Kathy.  She takes care of the dogs during the week, albeit it is extremely expensive (she takes care of them when I travel).

I won’t have my own living space anymore, and I do have some friends up there that I see frequently.

My goal, however, is to get out of debt and then move back up there after putting away enough to buy a house.  I can do that very quickly if I live here in Llano with my dad.  If I end up traveling 100%, I will only be home on weekends anyway.  And, like I always said, I have to be within one hour of good shopping, and Austin is about an hour away.

The only sucky part is, if I do travel, I have to drive about an hour and a half to get to the Austin airport, and anywhere I go, I have to hop at DFW.  Then, when I get home from working a ten hour day and flying home, I will have to drive another hour and a half to get back to the house.  But that’s the only major drawback to moving here (except it’s a tiny town of people who are 100 years old, or so hick that they don’t know what a sedan is).  It’s a good trade-off for not having any real bills and being able to pay off my debt quickly.

So yes, I am moving back in with my dad.  Isn’t that nice?  35 years old, and I am going home to daddy.  I HATE moving.  I HATE moving more than I HATE going to the grocery store.  I usually hire Graebel to pack me and move me.  So I am getting a u-haul, and have them pack me, and then have them load the graebel truch with what goes in storage and the uhaul truck with what goes to Llano.  Why am I telling you this?  God how boring.

Anyway, I hope you are all doing well.  I am sorry I haven’t caught up on blogs.  I am trying to stay away from the computer as much as possible right now.  I just got really burned out on it, being unemployed and sitting in front of the computer all day.
