At least we aren’t all in a concentration camp with our fathers trying the best to make light of a serious situation to his own detriment.
Good movie, by the way. I highly recommend it.

It’s a great movie. Sometimes wish you could be in it just to experience it and die at the end.

BPR: of course. You know how you go out with your girlfriends, and they get drunk and they make no sense at all, and the next day, you are like, what the fuck was that all about, and they say nothing, but inside they know exactly what they are talking about, but won’t say anything for sheer humiliation? And would never say anything to you about it?
That’s kinda like this.

Cheerios are good. They lower your cholesterol. Knowing me, as soon as I am able to drive, I will probably go buy as much chocolate as possible, along with some cheetos. It’s good for the hormones.

When you’re too fat to see your toes without bending over, it’s time to put away the sparkly socks.
Hey you know, I 1 may be more fun drunk and on drugs. I am going to have to keep that in mind. You think Karl would let me smoke his pot?

Great flick. Really, really, really great flick.
Flashback to a summer sometime in the late 90s: I went out with a friend of mine and the woman she was dating at the time. The topic of “Life Is Beautiful” came up. This new woman was quite opinionated about the whole subject: after all, she had studied the Holocaust in great detail. The movie had just come out and none of us had seen it. This woman thought that the very notion of it was an abomination — the audacity some would have to make light of something as tragic as the Holocaust.
The two of them went their separate ways soon after.
I had a point to this reply. I swear I did…

I can’t believe I got this many responses to an entry that I wrote in six seconds and was dead flat drunk.
Maybe I should write all my posts drunk!
Come on man. You know you want to say something!
