I know she did it. I know she sent it to me on purpose.
She sent me her cold. Bitch.
She hates me. She has to. And oh, she sits over there, guest blogging on Avi’s site, just as happy as she can be.
I wake up yesterday, bitching about my period. Got it was awful, if you didn’t get the picture. I decide to go shopping. It was a bad shopping day. Nothing called to me. Nothing called my name. It was a sad moment. Then, out of nowhere, my throat starts hurting. I think, okay, maybe there is something in the air.
Then the cough starts. In a matter of a half an hour, I have a deep chest cough. Usually, it takes a week before I have that kind of a cough. Then my head starts hurting. I run a fever. Great. 100 degrees. Fabulous. I think of Poppy, knowing that somehow, some way, she has sent me her cold. Bitch.
So I go home, hoping that it’s going to get better. Go to sleep. Nope. Cough gets worse, fever gets worse. Get up at 6 a.m. and go to store. Stock up on Zicam, DayQuil, NyQuil, Mucinex (since my cough is so bad), orange juice, soup and bread. Yes, I am a giant weenie. Plus, I HATE going to the store, so I want to make sure I have everything I need to go into a drug-induced cold coma.
So, in a week, I have had the worst PMS ever, the worst period ever, and now I have a cold. And I rarely get sick. Poppy, it’s TOTALLY your fault!
This is the first time I have taken Zicam. It’s an experiment of interest. I will let you know if it works for me.
So, thanks Poppy. Thanks for sending it my way. Bitch.

Yeah, I went back to my old theme. I want to see if this Zicam can do what it says it can do. So far, am living on Zicam, Nyquil and Mucinex… Fun for all!

Thanks. This cold is still kicking my ass a bit. I went to sleep when I got home last night, woke up long enough to post at Avi’s, then slept until 11am today. So, be prepared for a sucky long haul. Everyone’s sick here.
