Today, I am swamped in work. I am so tired of what I do. I was supposed to start a new job on Monday, but I now can’t get the company to call me back. I would have no problem finishing up the work that I am doing if I were starting this new job on Monday, but because it is apparent that I won’t be starting that new job, I am still dependent upon my current contract to get me work; and I really don’t enjoy it anymore. I am an independent, but I work through a company that I have had a relationship with for years (not a contracting company). I like everyone there. They are good people. But I am so far removed from everything, and do not receive any training, that I feel like every time I do something, I am battling uphill to make things work. Nothing should have to be this hard, and I am tired of struggling when I shouldn’t and don’t have to.
Anyway, because I am swamped this week, doing things where I have to go learn on my own with no real resources at my disposal, you get the below pictures for your viewing pleasure, courtesy of my mother.
